Homage

Homage, a hidden gem located on Ralston Street in Reno, NV, is a must-visit spot for all dessert, bakery, and coffee enthusiasts. This women-owned establishment offers a wide array of options including gluten-free and vegan choices. From their delectable pastries to their perfectly brewed coffee, Homage has something for everyone.

As a food reviewer of Restaurant World, I had the pleasure of experiencing the delights that this establishment has to offer. The Harvest Cobb salad with candied walnuts, dried cranberries, and gorgonzola in a pear dressing was a true standout. The Quinoa & Squash Salad with roasted almonds and chevre in honeymustard balsamic vinaigrette was a refreshing and flavorful option.

The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere make Homage the perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely meal with friends and family. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a relaxing brunch, Homage has you covered. Don't miss out on their famous Marble Pumpkin pie or the Berry Basque Cheesecake - both are sure to leave you speechless.

With their commitment to sustainability and providing a welcoming space for all, Homage truly embodies the essence of a modern-day bakery and coffee shop. I highly recommend stopping by and indulging in the delicious treats they have to offer. Cheers to Homage for creating a culinary experience that pays homage to good food and good company.

Just an update - This is the last weekend for Homage as they are closing their doors after all these years of being a little piece of heaven on Ralston Street. I stopped in with friends this morning for a good-bye meal. You will be Nicholle, I hope you will find another home soon. You will be missed by so many of us who have been with you for many years. Good luck!

Scrambled breakfast croissant 10/10! Lattes 10/10! Marble Pumpkin pie to die for 10/10! I came here on Sunday morning with my family and the customer service was extremely friendly and I felt at home... we sat outside and the weather and view was cozy!

They're food and coffee are great. I've had the quiche a few times now. It's always different, but consistently delicious. However, the last few times I've come here it's really slow to get food. Both times I've waited 25 minutes for a little slice of quiche. Not ideal. But they have nice indoor and outdoor seating. And I enjoy sitting on the porch when we come.

It's rare that I'm left speechless but about 9:30am Saturday, for the second time in my life, that is what I was rendered. First of all, you are greeted with the most amazing smell the second you walk in the door. The menu is big with lots of ingredients but, as a cheesecake person, I went with the Berry Basque Cheesecake. This was absolutely, hands down the most creamy and light, but also slightly dense (if that makes sense?) The berry jam on top was perfect. The top crust and the missing bottom crust was the balance I never knew I needed. The brownie cookie was too dark chocolate for me so I took a bite and passed the rest to my boyfriend. The Æbleskiver were a dish I had never tasted and now I'm not sure I could live without. The ricotta and berry mix on the bottom really put the dish over the top. A gentlemen walking around explained several recipes and cooking decisions that were made. It was so interesting to get "behind the scenes" stories. Prices are high so it won't be a weekly stop, but I'm not so sure you can keep me away.
